We also offer Hippotherapy (Equine Assisted Physical Therapy) for children & adults with neorological and other challenges,  Therapeutic Riding, Equine Assisted Mental Health Programs and Programs for Disabled Veterans.

Hippotherapy (Hippo): is given to a variety of children and adult patients with varying neurological and physical needs. Among these, we service a large population of  0-3 yr. children and developmentally delayed adults from the Mountain Valley Developmental Services Agency.

Therapeutic Riding (TR): is offered to a variety of clients – children and adults – who have needs that can be addressed outside of the realm of Hippotherapy. These clients have many varying needs from having “graduated” from Hippo to dealing mostly with emotional/behavioral issues.. Our two major programs are those of intervention and prevention:

Traditional Therapeutic Riding: these programs are client need-specific treatment interventions for people with on-going life challenges – from physical [i.e. Multiple Sclerosis] to behavioral strategies for dealing with attentional issues and anger control.
