Sopris Therapy Services expands Physical Therapy Department and offers Free Mini-Evaluations

Sopris Therapy Services (STS) is proud to announce the expansion of their PT department in Carbondale specializing in outpatient orthopaedic PT and Pilates Rehabilitation. STS founder and Physical Therapist, Belinda Brownell MS, PT has recently returned to Carbondale and has been hired as the STS Program Director. In addition to the Equine Assisted Therapy and Therapeutic Riding programs that STS has been providing for the past 17 years, Belinda now treats patients with various orthopaedic and neurological disorders in the new “hands on” year-round onsite PT and Pilates clinic.

Belinda is a native of the Roaring Fork Valley and has been an Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine PT for the past 26 years. In addition to being Board Certified and having her advanced masters in Orthoapaedic PT, she is also a personal trainer and has her certification in Polestar Rehab Pilates. STS treats patients from age 18 months to 95 years old with all types of diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Developmental Delays, Traumatic Brain Injury, Down’s Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Strokes, Total Joint Replacements and the like.
